Due to our continued growth and success we are looking for two Stores Operatives to join our Supply Chain team in Wrexham (LL13 9UG). The hours of work for this role are 4on 4off (17:45hrs – 06:00hrs)

What would you be doing?

As a member of the Supply Chain team, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage and supply of ingredients, packaging and consumables that support our production operations.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries of ingredients, packaging and other materials
  • Inspecting goods for quality, damage and correct documentation
  • Storing materials accurately within designated warehouse locations
  • Maintaining stock accuracy through stock counts and system updates
  • Ensuring correct FIFO (First In First Out) stock rotation and traceability
  • Picking and issuing materials to production lines in line with daily production plans
  • Supporting internal movements of stock across ambient and chilled storage areas
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
  • Following all Food Safety, GMP and site standards
  • Working closely with Production, Technical and Supply Chain teams to support operational requirements

The successful candidate for this role will need to demonstrate the following skills, qualifications and attributes:

Essential

  • Experience working in a warehouse, stores or logistics role, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing
  • Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (Counterbalance)
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately
  • Understanding of stock rotation and basic inventory control
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience using warehouse management or stock control systems
  • Knowledge of Food Safety, GMP or HACCP environments
  • Experience within bakery or chilled food manufacturing
