What would you be doing?

Our Vision as a business is to be the “Go-to” supplier of bakery products, working nationally with retailers such as M&S and Waitrose on their premium private label range and regionally through the Village Bakery brand. In achieving this vision, we want to be recognised as a family business that continually invests in the future through the development of our people, quality and food safety culture, equipment and processes.

As a National Account Executive you would join our team working with Senior and National Account Managers on exciting new commercial opportunities within the Bakery and Morning Goods sector.  This will involve diving into the numbers of data providers, such as Kantar, to understand what’s on-trend and what consumers ae looking for in order to make strong recommendations for that next big category gap filling product!

You’ll also lead on our Social Media platforms, helping to promote the Village Bakery brand through these various platforms.

What skills and qualifications would you need?

To be a successful National Account Manager within the Village Bakery you will need to demonstrate the following skills, qualifications and attributes:

Essential

• You’ll be keen, hungry and looking to grow into an account management or marketing role in a fast-paced and ever-changing industry
• You’ll be comfortable working with data, hot on the numbers, but also have the wider commercial awareness to be able to pull valuable insights from that data to help put together engaging presentations for retailers with a bit of creative flair.
• You’ll have excellent presentation skills and an eye for detail
• You’ll have experience and be comfortable with using Social Media platforms such as LinkedIn or Facebook

Desirable

• Degree educated, ideally within a Business or Food subject
• Experience working with data from providers such as Kantar
