  About the Role:

  We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician specialising in Applications and Data to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of Microsoft products and ideally come from a programming background. This role will focus on the development, integration, and maintenance of various applications and data systems, including SQL Server, Power Platform applications (PowerAutomate, PowerBI, PowerApps), SharePoint, and Teams.

  There will be plenty of learning on the job, training and certification provided and the scope to get into AI developments with ChatGPT, chatbots, virtual agents and Co-Pilot initiatives we are exploring.

  Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development and Maintenance: Develop, maintain, and optimize Power Platform applications such as PowerAutomate, PowerBI, and PowerApps.
• Data Management: Design, implement, and manage SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability.
• SharePoint and Teams Integration: Develop and integrate solutions within SharePoint and Teams to enhance collaboration and productivity.
• Programming and Scripting: Utilise programming skills to develop custom applications and automate processes. Experience with languages such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, or Python is desirable.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support for application and data-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• System Integration: Work on the integration of various systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation for developed applications and systems. Provide training and support to end-users.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

• Qualifications and Skills:

• Education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 1 years IT experience with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies and application development.

• Technical Skills:

• SQL Server management and development.
• Experience with Power Platform applications (PowerAutomate, PowerBI, PowerApps).
• Good knowledge of SharePoint and Teams development and integration.
• Programming skills in languages such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, or Python.
• Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications in relevant technologies or working towards them (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
