Due to growth of our business, the Village Bakery an award-winning, family bakery, is currently looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working person to join our passionate and friendly Finance team based in our Head Office in Wrexham (LL13 9UG). The hours of work for this role are Monday to Friday (08:30hrs to 17:00hrs) and the role is fully office based.

What would you be doing?

As a finance data administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in keeping our sales ledger processes running efficiently. You’ll be responsible for setting up new customers and products in our systems, maintaining accurate pricing data and ensuring invoices are sent to our retail customers electronically without issue. In addition, you’ll provide key support with spreadsheet management, troubleshooting of any failed invoices and aged debt analysis for our retail customers.

Key duties / responsibilities of Finance Data Administrator:

  • New customer set up
  • New product set up and maintenance
  • Price maintenance
  • Daily check for failed invoices sent electronically
  • Support with maintenance of invoice tracking spreadsheets
  • Support with aged debt analysis for retail customers
  • Use of customer portals for uploading invoices
  • Any other requests deemed reasonable by the Sales ledger supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Comfortable using electronic platforms, including customer portals
  • Strong MS Office / Excel Skills
  • Sage 200 experience would be desirable
  • Data entry skills and an aptitude for numbers
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks
