Due to our continued growth and success we are looking for a fixed-term Finance Administrator to join our Finance team in Wrexham (LL13 9UG). The hours of work for this role are Monday to Friday 08:30hrs to 17:00hrs and the role is fully office-based.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong and motivated individual to support both Sales and Purchase Ledger activities within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. The role is initially offered on a 6-month temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent.

What would you be doing?

Our vision is to be the “go-to” supplier of premium bakery products, working nationally with leading retailers and regionally through our own brands. As part of our Finance team, you will play a key role in supporting this vision by ensuring accurate, timely and well-controlled financial administration.

As a member of the Finance team you will be directly contributing to this vision through your core tasks and responsibilities these will include, but are not limited to:

  • Carrying out a hybrid of responsibilities across Sales and Purchase Ledger
  • Producing and issuing sales invoices accurately and on time
  • Recording and allocating sales ledger receipts correctly
  • Investigating deductions and resolving billing queries and anomalies
  • Chasing outstanding customer payments and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Using customer portals to raise queries and support account reconciliations
  • Supporting other general finance administration tasks as required

What would you need to demonstrate?

The successful candidate for this role will need to demonstrate the following skills, qualifications and attributes:

  • Experience working in a finance administration, sales ledger or purchase ledger role
  • Confidence using customer portals and finance systems
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • A good aptitude for numbers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
